Black diamonds
Black Diamonds are typically genuine diamonds treated with radiation to make their color appear black under normal lighting.
There are natural black diamonds that are not treated. A natural black diamond’s color is the result of numerous inclusions. Most of these inclusions are graphite. Due to the high amount of these dark inclusions, natural black diamonds are generally opaque and difficult to polish.
Fancy Color Diamonds
Natural diamonds occur in many different colors including yellow, pink, blue and brown. If a fancy color has a good size and clarity it can command huge price premiums over traditional white diamonds.
Popularly priced fancy color diamonds including bright blue and black diamonds are typically low grade natural diamonds that have been treated by radiation, while some are factory created diamonds.
Amoro does not use any synthetically enhanced or laboratory grown diamonds of any kind in its exclusive diamond creations.
